REPORTS TO: Kitchen Supervisor

SUPERVISES: N/A

STATUS: Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE: Part-Time

FUNCTION: The person in this position will support the Food Service and Events department, working in a team environment to provide a high-quality atmosphere for programs and excellent service during functions at the Kroc Center. The character and attitude must align with the principles of The Salvation Army's Mission.

Responsibilities

DUTIES:

• Prepare and serve food attractively
• Work in dishwashing and table cleaning
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Follow kitchen recipes and procedures
• Assist others as needed
• Maintain personal hygiene
• Participate in special meal functions
• Follow health and dress code standards
• Notify managers of absences in advance
• Maintain certifications
• Work evenings and weekends for events

Equipment

• Familiarize with kitchen and concession equipment
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary
• Stay updated on culinary trends
• Perform other duties as assigned
