Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a prep cook.
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, preparation equipment, small wares, plate ware, food ingredients, garnishes and supply items needed for effective operation of the station.
• Assists other kitchen personnel in food preparation and side work according to prep lists.
• Preps all food to ensure that items are prepared according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation and quality standards.
• Maintains sanitation, cleanliness and food safety for work area including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls and shelving.
• Reports any unsafe conditions or acts to the Sous Chef/Chef.
• Supports other Back-of-House positions as needed to provide a seamless Guest experience.
• Completes station closing duties and assists with kitchen cleaning.
• Additional duties as assigned.
