Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team and assist with the preparation of high-quality meals for our guests.

You will prepare ingredients for menu items, follow recipes, and help with production while maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of prep cook experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring out spices and other ingredients
• Assist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food items
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Other duties as assigned
