King's Hawaiian is seeking a Prep Cook for The Local Place in California. You will prep all menu items according to recipes, ensure safe food handling, and maintain cleanliness to support daily operations.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the role requires basic English, ability to use prep equipment, and a commitment to a substance-free work environment. Wage starts at $16–$17/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Speaks and understands basic English.
• Knowledgeable to work all equipment and stations, both front line and prep areas.
• Able to report to work physically and mentally ready to do the job.

• Able to be present at work for assigned schedule including, nights weekends, holidays and extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Prep all proteins, vegetables, and sauces per recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of prep areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with team for front line and catering needs.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
