Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Prep Cook in Nashville to support kitchen operations and contribute to a fast-paced, high-standards team. You will handle daily prep, portioning and setup to ensure smooth service.

This position requires at least one year of kitchen prep or line cook experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to follow directions and safety guidelines. Join a growing, value-driven hospitality group in a dynamic environment.

• Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking.
• Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and comply with health regulations.

The Role:

Order and precision of all things food is what you live for. As a Prep Cook, you enjoy the behind-the-scenes of culinary art and ensuring success for the rest of the kitchen staff.

What we will ask of you:

• Refer to Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening and closing checklists and promptly report equipment, food quality problems, or product shortages to Chef
• Prepares and portions a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
• Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation

Requirements for Success:
