Prep Cook: At this location, prep cooks earn $17 - $20 / hour and an additional $2 on average per hour in tips.

We are looking for experienced Full-Service Prep Cooks:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience on a fast-paced line.
  • Follow food safety procedures, complete daily prep lists, prepare specific recipes for service; clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment, utensils, and tools throughout the kitchen.
  • Ensure only “fresh” high-quality ingredients are used when preparing all recipes.
  • Display the proper recipe on the monitor during preparation and cooking.
  • Adhere to proper recipes when producing items.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring floor surfaces are clean, dry, and free from debris.
  • Use PPE appropriately and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of cooking equipment, including startup, shutdown, shift maintenance, and cleaning as needed.
  • Keep a clean and organized workstation.
  • Be guest-focused and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate basic English/Spanish communication skills.
  • Be a trusting, passionate, humble, and gracious team player.
  • Build lasting relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Create a fun and positive environment.

Education

  • High School diploma preferred.
