Restaurant Associates

• We have an opening for a full-time SENIOR COOK position.
• Location: Fanny's Restaurant - 6067 West Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary, including weekends, days, and evenings; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: One to two years of lead line cook experience and/or lead prep cook experience is required.
• Pay Range: $23.00 to $26.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use. Perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy. Maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate production records and completing documentation, reports, and logs.
• Assist in cross-training employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
