Hourly Wage
Guckenheimer offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $24 per hour - $26 per hour.

Work Hours
The work hours for this position are approximately 8:00 am- 4:30 pm, Mon - Fri + Weekends.

Key Purpose
The Cook will accurately and efficiently fulfill prep lists, tasks, and food preparation for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and, special/catered events. Responsibilities may vary based on business needs and client requirements.

Success Criteria

  • Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe environment for all employees and guests
  • Follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, and internal audit guidelines daily
  • Operate culinary equipment safely, including slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of professional cooking experience or equivalent education

Key Accountabilities

  • Clock in/out for work and breaks
  • Provide high-quality service according to ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Follow food preparation procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Execute recipes as directed by production sheets and chefs
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulations
  • Report ingredient discrepancies, safety issues, or other concerns to management
  • Attend daily meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds, using team lift or carts as needed
  • Dress according to dress code
  • Work under pressure during peak periods
