Job summary

SodexoMagic is hiring a Prep Cook at the Delta Sky Club MSY location. The role focuses on preparing and serving vibrant menu items, maintaining clean work areas, and delivering friendly customer service to guests.

Ideal candidates are team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable, with 0–1 year of related experience being beneficial. Shifts vary, with open availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads recipes and assists in preparing hot and/or cold foods using kitchen utensils/equipment.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and production equipment.
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, e.g., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reads recipes and prepares hot and/or cold foods.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• May perform basic cooking tasks such as vegetables and chicken for salads.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour - $18.00 per hour

As a Prep Cook at SodexoMagic, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator. This role includes the preparation and serving of our vibrant menusand ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.

Responsibilities include:

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment

• Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment

• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
