Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a Prep Cook to support the Nutritional Service Department. Under the FANS Management team, you will perform routine daily food preparation tasks and maintain a clean, sanitized work area while delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), and onboarding may require up to one year of healthcare food and nutrition services experience. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of healthcare food and nutrition services experience preferred.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food per the Nutritional Service Department needs under FANS management.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Provide high level of customer service to patients and colleagues.

Education
