Job summary

Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza is opening a new location in Middleton, FL, and expanding its team at The Villages. We are hiring energetic Prep Cooks to join a growing family-owned brand that values people, culture, and growth.

Your role will involve preparing fresh ingredients, following recipes, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure high-quality pizzas and dishes. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Dependable and hardworking with attention to detail.

• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients including chopping vegetables, portioning toppings, and measuring ingredients.
• Follow recipes and ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation meet company standards.
• Support line cooks and pizza makers by ensuring stations are stocked and ready for service.
• Maintain food safety by following proper storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Keep prep and kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Assist with communication between BOH and FOH team members to ensure guest needs are met quickly.
• Uphold menu knowledge to answer occasional questions about ingredients and allergens.

About the Role – Prep Cook

As a Prep Cook at Piesanos, you’ll be responsible for preparing ingredients and supporting the kitchen team so that every dish meets our high standards. This role requires urgency, accuracy, and pride in maintaining a clean and efficient prep environment.

What You’ll Do:
