Responsibilities

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team on morning shifts. This person is the backbone of our daily service — your work sets the tone for everything that comes out of our kitchen. You’ll work closely with our kitchen lead to ensure all components are prepped to spec, fresh, and ready before doors open.

What you'll do

• Wash, chop, and prep fresh produce to spec daily
• Prepare house-made sauces, dressings, and marinades from scratch
• Mix and portion dry rubs
• Operate our smoker to smoke our chicken wings
• Hand cut cheeses
• Portion pepperoni, sausage, and other pizza toppings into containers
• Assist with Neapolitan pizza dough production as needed
• Label, date, and properly store all prepped items per food safety standards
• Follow all recipes and portion guidelines consistently
• Communicate proactively with kitchen leadership about inventory and prep needs
• Perform light dishwashing and maintain a clean, organized workspace

What we're looking for

• Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and work with attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently in a morning shift environment (we open to the public at 4pm Wednesday-Friday, and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday) Prep would need completed before open. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays
• Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
