Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled prep chef to join our culinary team at Brasserie Ten Ten. As a prep chef, you will be responsible for upholding the exceptional standards of our kitchen, ensuring that every dish prepared within our premises meets our stringent quality and presentation requirements. You will collaborate closely with our team of chefs to prepare and assemble a diverse range of prepared ingredients for our dishes, contributing to the overall efficiency of our kitchen and enhancing the unforgettable dining experience for our esteemed guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Cook Menu Items: Adhere to established recipes and standards to prepare and cook menu items.
  • Set Up Prep Stations: Ensure that all prep stations are set up with the necessary supplies.
  • Maintain Kitchen and Workstation Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstations at all times.
  • Maintain Professional Attitude: Maintain a positive and professional attitude during the fast-paced morning shifts.
  • Assist with Kitchen Prep Work: Assist with kitchen prep work as needed.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen Team: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth service.
  • Adhere to Food Safety and Sanitation Guidelines: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Technical Proficiency:Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Teamwork:Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure.
  • Passion for Culinary Arts: Passion for food and a commitment to excellence.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Culinary Education: Culinary school education is preferred but not mandatory.
