Job summary

PeopleReady in Avon, IN is seeking a Prep Cook for the 2nd shift. You will prepare and cook foods per recipes, help maintain kitchen quality, and ensure safe storage and sanitation. Role includes using blenders, knives, and ovens while upholding standards owned by the branch at 4200 South East Street, Suite 9.

Pay is $15 per hour with a focus on reliability and teamwork. Applicants must be 18+, possess food handler or ServSafe training, and pass a background check and drug test.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Prep Cook:

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes

• Test foods to determine if they are prepared and cooked correctly

• Store food at correct temperatures to ensure freshness

• Utilize blenders, cutlery, and ovens to prepare food

• Make sure area is clean and all quality and sanitation standards are met, including cold and hot storage

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Prep cooking experience preferred

• Good knife skills and knowledge of food preparation

• Possess a valid food handler's card or ServSafe certification - our branch will help provide this training

• Able to work all areas of the kitchen

• Background check and drug test required
