PeopleReady of Aurora, CO is now hiring Cooks in Denver, CO. As a Cook, you will perform many different duties that are part of preparing meals.

You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, gaining experience in high-volume food preparation and safety guidelines. This role offers first-shift daytime hours with flexible position options and access to JobStack for easy job applications.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19.29 – $19.29 / hour*

What you’ll be doing as a Cook:

• Prepare meals in a large volume establishment

• Saute, grill, fry, and cook ingredients according to food safety guidelines

• Chop, slice, and wash fruits and vegetables

• Make salads, desserts, and complete meals

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Experience in a high-volume institutional environment

• Good knife skills and knowledge of food preparation

• Stand in kitchen environment for long periods of time

• Have a Food Handling Card or be willing to take training to get the food handling card
