Anchor Bar Restaurant: Hiring for Prep Cooks / Receiving
- Pay Rate: $10 per hour - $12 per hour
- Reports to: General Manager, Kitchen Supervisor & Assistant Managers
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of wings, pizzas, sandwiches, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using fryers, broilers, ovens, grills, stovetops, and other kitchen equipment.
- Properly prep ingredients according to the Prep Appendix for use in menu item preparation.
- Preserve the integrity and quality of all food products.
- Maintain food value through proper ordering, rotation, and defrosting procedures.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
- Monitor food costs by minimizing waste, following correct rotation practices, preventing theft, ensuring accurate recipes, and reducing errors.
- Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment and cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
- Ensure proper sanitation practices and the accurate rotation of stock.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
