The Crack Shack is hiring for a kitchen team member in sunny San Diego, CA. You will help execute recipes, prep ingredients, and keep a clean, efficient kitchen to deliver guest satisfaction. Training is provided on the job, and you’ll work alongside a hospitality-focused team in a fast-paced environment.

Be at least 18, bring enthusiasm for great food, and learn the menu to support smooth service and delightful guest experiences.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties.
• Label and stock ingredients on shelves for easy access.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings for dishes.
• Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and meat.
• Maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and sanitize surfaces.
• Prepare daily pastry and baked goods.
• Ensure proper storage of food and items.

A Day In The Shack

When your inspiration is as wide as the world and your chickens as free as the ranges they roam, a culinary treat beyond the ordinary is ready to hatch.You will provide guest satisfaction through recipe execution and preparing high-quality food for our Guests.

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc.
• Prepare daily pastry and baked goods.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous kitchen is preferred. But we offer on-the-job training.
• Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests.
• Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry.
