Job summary

Center for Advanced Gastroenterology Surgery Center, LLC (CFAGI Endo Center) in Florida is seeking a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care before and after anesthesia. The role involves collaboration with physicians, monitoring, and ensuring safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited RN degree, state license, and BLS/ACLS certification, with PACU or critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by center.
• 1 year experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile techniques.
• Care for patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for discharge.
