Job summary

Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater, LLC is seeking a Preoperative Pacu Registered Nurse per diem to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The PACU RN will deliver continuous, high-quality care to patients emerging from anesthesia, prioritize needs, and maintain safety and comfort throughout recovery.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, BLS/ACLS (PALS if applicable), and 2 years in PACU/CCU; strong communication and nursing judgment are essential for success in a busy ASC

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks and sterile techniques.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care from anesthesia emergence to discharge readiness.
