Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking an RN PreOp/PACU to provide high-quality nursing care at the AdventHealth Surgery Center Mills Park. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and privacy during preoperative care.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited nursing school, an active RN license, and at least 2 years of experience in PACU or critical care. The position offers extensive benefits including medical coverage, a 401(k), and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.

• Provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia.

Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Surgery Center Mills Park

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilize sterile techniques as appropriate. Provides comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
