Job summary

University Surgical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator for Preoperative/PACU to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. We value a team player with upbeat energy, excellent patient service, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a Gastroenterology setting.

Responsibilities

• Knows and adheres to Center policies and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Follows standards, policies, procedures for non-acutely ill patients.
• Understands the needs of each age group of the patient population.
• Follows OSHA and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Uses good body mechanics.
• Remains calm and functions as a team member during times of stress and crisis situations.
• Takes vital signs and applies V/S monitors and documents appropriately.
• Follows employee health and other personnel and staffing policies.
