Job summary

University Surgical Center, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), seeks a Registered Nurse to serve as an Operating Room Circulator in its Preoperative/PACU area in Winter Park, FL. The role requires providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced ASC environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• RN with active nursing license and operating room circulator function understanding.

Responsibilities

• Know and follow Center policies; demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
• Adhere to standards and procedures for non-acutely ill patients.
• Understand needs of each patient age group and apply safety standards.
• Follow OSHA bloodborne pathogen protection and body mechanics protocols.
• Maintain composure and act as a team member during stress.
• Take vital signs and document appropriately.

We are looking to add an RN who is a team player to our Gastroenterology department. We need someone who has good energy, enjoys customer service, and performs well with minimal supervision. If this is you, we would encourage you to come to visit us.

Responsibilities:

• Knows and adheres to policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives non-acutely ill patients according to accepted standards.
• Demonstrates ability to understand the unique needs of each age group of the patient population.
• Follows OSHA and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Uses good body mechanics
• Remains calm and functions as a team member during times of stress and crisis situations.
• Able to take vital signs and apply V/S monitors and documents appropriately.
• Follows employee health and other personnel and staffing policies.
