Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) operates North Shore Surgical Center in Lincolnwood, IL, seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator RN). The Circulator provides nursing care during surgery, positions and prepares patients, and circulates the case with active involvement across multiple specialties.

The position requires a graduate RN, active state license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, with 1 year of circulator experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator highly preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and prepping the patient for surgery.
• Circulating during cases and coordinating with the surgical team.
• Assist in procedures across ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, IVF, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR Circulator RN)

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, IVF, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator highly preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Pay range:

Min $40.60 - Max $47.00
