Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) Cape Health Surgery Center in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced ASC team, delivering patient-family-centered perioperative care.

The RN will follow nursing process, support the perioperative team, maintain aseptic standards, and adapt to dynamic patient conditions while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted RN license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical centers preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent team player with good communication with staff, patients and physicians.

Cape Health Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse to join our team.

Cape Health Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Preoperative PACU RN is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• The RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family-centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations.
• The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• The RN reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Required Skills:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS and ACLS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
