Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing (required).
• A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License or state license is required.
• BLS CPR from American Heart Association; CPI certification within orientation period.
• Other unit-specific certifications may be required within orientation.
• Experience: 2–3 years of Acute Care or equivalent with leadership ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the unit in collaboration with the Director.
• Oversee patient care, staffing, and fiscal responsibility to meet unit goals.
• Promote a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Lead and supervise nursing personnel; assess educational needs and provide staff development.
• Participate in unit-based quality monitoring and PI reporting.
