Job summary

Surgery Center at Saint Francis in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated Preoperative RN to join our team. You will assess patients before surgery, educate families about the process, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and comfort.

This role requires a TN RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of PreOp/PACU experience. Schedule offers work-life balance with no weekends, no on-call, and no holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or program.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.

• Proven track record of stability and long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients preoperatively to ensure readiness for surgery.

What You’ll Do:

• As a Preoperative RN , you’ll assess patients before surgery, ensuring they’re fully prepared for their procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, answering any questions and providing reassurance.
• Monitor patients’ vitals, review medical histories, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
