Job summary

United Surgical Partners International's Surgery Center at Saint Francis in Memphis, TN is seeking a PRN PreOp RN to join a patient-focused, team-centered environment where no weekends, no call, and no holidays are required. As a Preoperative RN you will assess patients before surgery, educate families, monitor vitals and histories, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Tennessee RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent preoperative, PreOp or PACU experience.
• Demonstrated stability and longevity in past roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients preoperatively and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process and answer questions.
• Monitor vitals, review histories, and collaborate with the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high patient-care standards.

What You’ll Do:

Required Skills:

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.
