Job summary

Banner Surgery Center – Chandler, managed by Atlas Healthcare Partners, is located at S Alma School Road and W Pecos Road in Chandler, AZ. We seek an experienced registered nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team.

The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ASC, documenting care accurately and ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU.
• New licensed RN enrolled in Perianesthesia Academy with completion within 4 months.
• PRN: Minimum two years licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and post-operative planning needs.
• Formulates a plan of care, including the discharge plan, with input from patient and health team.
• Implements the plan of care through direct patient care and supervision of staff.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans with the team.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Provides care based on best evidence and participates in education and leadership activities.
