Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Manager to oversee pre-op, PACU, and PAT operations. This full-time role emphasizes patient safety, quality of care, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and management.

The Nurse Manager will supervise nursing personnel, establish standards of care, and ensure facility goals for safety, service, and finances are met. Prior ambulatory leadership experience is preferred, with BSN preferred and active VA RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred.
• Current license as an RN (VA).
• BLS required, ACLS within 90 days.
• Clinical – 2 years ambulatory experience preferred.
• Supervisory – Prior leadership/management experience preferred.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Pre-op/PACU/PAT; assist as Pre-op/PACU/PAT RN as necessary.
• Establish effective relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers and vendors.

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Manager. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.

The Nurse Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Nurse Manager works with Senior Management in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals. Oversees Pre-op/PACU/PAT; Assists as Pre-op/PACU/PAT RN as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred
• Licensure: Current license as aVA Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
• Experience:
• Clinical – 2 years’ ambulatory experience preferred
• Supervisory - Prior leadership/management experience preferred
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
