Job summary

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse. This busy multispecialty center serves Northern Suffolk and affiliates with USPI.

The RN provides comprehensive perioperative care, maintains safety and quality standards, and collaborates with physicians, staff, and management to ensure excellent patient experiences. Qualifications include a BSN preferred, VA RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and 2 years OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred.
• Current VA Registered Nurse license.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days.
• 2 years Operating Room experience preferred.
• Good command of English; positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and management to meet safety, quality, and service goals.

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Registered Nurse works with Senior Management in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred
• Licensure: Current license as a VA Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
• Experience: 2 years’ Operating Room experience preferred
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
