Job summary

Bon Secours Surgery Center Harbour View, affiliated with United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Manager. The Nurse Manager will oversee all departmental functions, ensuring safety, quality, and service excellence while collaborating with senior management and medical staff.

Responsibilities include supervising Pre-op/PACU/PAT, providing leadership to nursing personnel, and ensuring adherence to perioperative standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a professional nursing program with an active RN license in Virginia
• BLS certification required, ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Ambulatory care experience preferred (2 years)
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Oversee all department functions in support of mission, vision, and facility goals
• Lead Pre-op, PACU, and PAT nursing activities and coordinate with senior management
• Establish effective relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers and vendors

Full- Time: PreOp PACU RN Manager

No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Manager. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.

The Nurse Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Nurse Manager works with Senior Management in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals. Oversees Pre-op/PACU/PAT; Assists as Pre-op/PACU/PAT RN as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred
• Licensure: Current license as aVA Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
• Experience:
• Clinical – 2 years’ ambulatory experience preferred
• Supervisory - Prior leadership/management experience preferred
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
