Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a Preop/PACU Registered Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care and support to patients and families in a dynamic hospital setting in Vail, Colorado.

You will oversee patient flow, educate patients for discharge, and ensure safe, accurate documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements. Opportunities include working in both PreOP and PACU with on-call responsibilities and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of RN experience; acute care preferred.
• Colorado RN license or valid compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient flow to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Provides patient education to facilitate plan of care and discharge instructions.
• Delivers care per ASPAN standards and follows HIPAA compliance.
• Administers medications and assists in procedures with patient safety adherence.
• Completes patient documentation accurately and timely.
• Works in PreOP and PACU; able to take call independently.
