Job summary

AtlantiCare City Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Preop/PACU unit on a full-time days schedule. The RN works with physicians and the care team to provide perioperative care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, ensuring safety and quality in all steps of the care continuum.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with a focus on culturally competent care and ongoing professional growth. A BSN is preferred and NJ RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in New Jersey or compact license.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and data gathering to identify patient care needs.
• Planning and prioritizing goals with the interdisciplinary team.
• Intervention and execution of orders per care plan.
• Ongoing evaluation of patient progress and plan adjustments.
