Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Preop/PACU role in the Center for Ortho Surgery. The nurse delivers patient care in Pre-Op and PACU, supports the surgical team with equipment and supplies, and participates in performance improvement initiatives.

A BSN is preferred, NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS as required by specialty, with Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred. This full-time position offers a busy environment with opportunities for professional growth,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire or transfer.
• ACLS and PALS required as designated by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Pre-Op and PACU across three phases of the surgical experience.
• Assist physicians with equipment, supplies and support; ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in performance improvement efforts and uphold teamwork and safety.
