Center for Advanced Gastroenterology Surgery Center, LLC is hiring a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse. The role provides continuity and quality nursing care for patients, with ongoing evaluation of their condition, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy while supporting physicians in the PACU and anesthesia processes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited RN program, holds an active RN license in the state, and has BLS and ACLS (PALS preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 1 year experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for discharge.
