Qualifications

• Current LPN/RN licensure in Florida
• BLS through American Heart Association (healthcare providers)
• Certified in Childbirth Education
• 2 years of experience as a Childbirth Educator in an acute setting

Responsibilities

• Educates prenatal and/or postpartum patients and families
• Provides ongoing education for patients and nursing staff
• Applies nursing processes and theories per ANA standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

LPN/RN licensure (FL)

BLS (AHA)

Childbirth Education certification

2 years experience as Childbirth Educ.

Education

Graduate of accredited nursing school (LPN)

RN preferred
