Job summary

Omni Charlottesville Hotel is seeking a Bell/Valet Attendant to provide exceptional guest service in a downtown Charlottesville setting. You will park and retrieve vehicles, assist with luggage, and warmly greet guests to ensure a positive first impression.

The role requires a valid Virginia driver's license, ability to stand 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. A drug screen and MVR background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Virginia driver's license.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English to communicate with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, walk and run in a fast pace.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.
• Must be willing to subject to a drug screen and MVR background check.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Park guests' vehicles.
• Retrieve guests' vehicles.
• Assist guests with luggage when necessary.
• Urgently assist Doorpersons in greeting guests with undivided attention and open doors whenever possible.
• Assist in front drive activities as directed by Doorpersons.
• Other duties as assigned.
