Job summary

Natural Retreats in Port St. Joe, FL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service a portfolio of luxury vacation homes.

You will handle preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections to ensure properties remain fully operational and guest-ready. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances; perform carpentry and basic construction tasks; and keep detailed records while coordinating with guests, homeowners, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Proficient with cell phones and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational skills to record and catalogue work performed.
• Proactive and flexible in approach to duties and problem-solving.
• Ability to exercise good judgement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer/guest focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Cape San Blas portfolio of homes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain core home systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances) and perform basic repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Assist housekeeping when needed.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders; document work performed.
• Maintain detailed records of service and coordinate with guests/owners.
