Job summary
Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice mobile staffing across MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center, IA. These part-time night shifts offer flexible scheduling and travel opportunities within a wide regional network.
Eligible RNs gain premium pay and diverse practice settings to expand their clinical experience. The role requires active RN licensure, nursing degree, and 18+ months of bedside experience in Med-Surg/Tele/PCU or 2+ years in other specialties,
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in applicable state(s).
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
- Required credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
- Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Act independently within licensure and scope of knowledge.
- Delegate, decide, and own outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
