Job summary

The Historic Tennessee Theatre Foundation seeks a Catering & Hospitality Manager to lead all food, catering, and hospitality operations for theatre events, private rentals, and donor experiences. You will source and manage external caterers, arrange premium lounge experiences, and ensure top-tier service aligned with budget and health standards.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Programming & Production, you will collaborate with Event Services, Audience Services, Development, and Facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Food Business Management.
• Minimum 5 years of catering, banquet, or food service operations experience.
• 3+ years supervising hospitality staff and budgeting, inventory, vendor management and reporting.
• CFPM or ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain within 60 days; allergen awareness a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food, catering, and hospitality operations for events and private rentals.
• Review touring riders and advance artist/crew hospitality requirements.
• Manage external caterers, contracts, delivery, setup, and service for events.
• Develop menus, service styles, and budgets with internal partners.
• Lead staff recruitment, scheduling, and supervision for hospitality teams.
• Ensure food safety, permits, inspections, and cost controls across events.
