Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a Kitchen Team Member for its theater locations. The role focuses on preparing menu items, maintaining safety, and delivering a positive guest experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Experience in a professional kitchen, familiarity with POS systems, and ServSafe knowledge are valued. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus; weekend/holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience; culinary training preferred.
• If experience lacking, the position can start as dishwasher/prep cook with career growth potential.
• ServSafe training certification preferred or must be completed/certified by Cinépolis prior to line work.
• Proficiency in kitchen operations and execution; follow safety guidelines.
• Working knowledge of U.S. measurements, weight and volume.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items accurately and promptly when ordered through the POS system.
• Show integrity by only making items ordered through the POS system and always doing the right thing.
• Be of service and accommodate special requests with management approval to create a tailored guest experience.
• Prepares dishes according to recipes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff to ensure timely, high-quality output.
• Remake items as instructed by a Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow Food Handlers Safety guidelines; maintain safe temperatures and proper labeling.
• Maintain clean work areas and stock dry goods; manage inventory levels.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
