Job summary

Cinépolis USA is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to join our Operations team at the Carlsbad theater. This role supports high-volume food service, following recipes, preparing menu items, and ensuring timely, high-quality dishes for guests.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional kitchen experience, basic culinary skills, and familiarity with food safety practices; ServSafe certification preferred or provided by Cinépolis.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience; culinary training preferred.
• Dishwashing, prep/cooking, and expediting experience.
• ServSafe training certification preferred or to be completed by Cinépolis.

Responsibilities

• Show passion and commitment by preparing menu items accurately and promptly when ordered.
• Prepare dishes according to recipes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff to ensure timely, high-quality output.
• Remake items when instructed by a Supervisor or Manager.
• Adhere to Food Handler Safety guidelines and maintain proper temperatures and labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes and keeping work areas organized.
• Stock kitchen areas and restock dry goods; use FIFO and track waste.
• Keep supervisors informed on inventory levels and assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Support a safe work environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
