Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a dedicated line cook to join our theater kitchen in California. You will prepare menu items, follow standardized recipes, and collaborate with the team to deliver quality dishes during peak times.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of professional kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience; culinary training preferred.
• Must follow recipes and maintain high food quality.
• ServSafe training preferred or provided by Cinépolis prior to line work.
• Proficient with U.S. measurements and kitchen safety procedures.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items accurately and promptly when ordered.
• Cook dishes to ensure high quality and timely service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization during and after shifts.
• Stock and organize dry goods and prep materials; manage waste logs.
• Follow opening, mid, and closing procedures; adhere to safety guidelines.
• Attend trainings and stay flexible with holiday/weekend shifts.
