The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Suites Supervisors to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Suites Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all food service and hospitality operations are efficiently carried out while providing an exemplary guest experience.

Pay

$21.50 - $21.50 / hour

What will you do?

• Oversee inventory and estimates of food and beverage costs
• Schedule all front-of-house suite team members for events
• Assist with the hiring, training, and development of suite team membersReview financial information and monitor budgets to ensure efficient operations
• Inspect suites, kitchen, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to

More about you

• Minimum of 2 years of previous hospitality and high-volume dining experience required
• Strong knowledge of food and wine
• Basic knowledge of cost control measures and profit and loss
• Ability to problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
