Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a friendly Server to welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a focus on hospitality. You will maintain clean dining areas and follow sanitation guidelines while working in a fast-paced environment across our Baltimore-area properties.

The role requires excellent guest service, English fluency, and the ability to stand for long shifts. Food handlers and TIPS certificates are required, with a preference for 2 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Two years of server experience in a full-service restaurant preferred, preferably fine dining.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handlers and TIPS certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge arriving guests promptly and professionally.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of the menu and specialties.
• Serve food and beverages, check temperature and portions, and refill as needed.
• Operate POS and handle cash/credit transactions per policies.
• Check-in with tables to ensure guest satisfaction and expectations.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and servicing equipment.
• Complete closing duties and reports; adhere to safety guidelines.
