Proof of the Pudding in North Carolina seeks Premium Servers to deliver exceptional guest service at DUKE University athletic events. You will set up suites, clubs and buffets, carry equipment, serve guests, and ensure a polished dining experience.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, strong listening and communication, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team. The role is seasonal/part-time with on-the-job training and a flexible schedule, excluding home game days.

This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more.Proof of the Pudding, operator of DUKE University hospitality and concessions, is looking for Premium Servers to provide strong customer service to all premium hospitality areas, at DUKE University’s athletic events. We are offering competitive pay and on-the-job training at one of the most scenic venues in North Carolina.This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events.essential duties and responsibilitiesEnsure the setting of suites, clubs, and buffets completely.Must be able to set up for events, carry equipment, serve guests, and clean up at the conclusion of the event.Quickly respond to guests needs.Maintain proper dining experience and fulfilling customer needs.Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed.Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.Knowledge of event menu items and their contents.Responsible for setting buffet stations which may include décor.Running food to suites and concessions as needed.Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.Performs other related duties as required.Education and/or Experience:High School diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of upscale/VIP service styles preferred.Live within or near Durham, NC.Specialized Qualifications:Excellent listening and communication skillsStrong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.The ability to work alone and as a team.The ability to learn and adapt quickly.Work EnvironmentThe work environment for this position will be event operations and working out of the Football Stadium or similar venues.
