Aspen Skiing Company is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for the Aspen Collection across multiple locations. The role leads daily store operations, drives team performance, and maintains premium guest experiences in both retail and seasonal rentals.

You will develop team members, execute priorities, and uphold merchandising, rental, and service standards while serving as Manager on Duty when needed. Salary ranges from $63,000 to $75,600 with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2–5 years in premium retail, hospitality, or rental operations.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to lead daily store operations and own duties in the manager's absence.
• Lead the sales floor, drive guest experience, and maximize sales opportunities.
• Model premium service, resolve guest concerns, and protect brand standards.
• Drive performance through selling, client engagement, and KPI accountability.
• Coach and develop associates, support hiring and training.
• Oversee rental operations and inventory processes with accuracy.
• Ensure accurate POS operations and cash handling compliance.
• Assist with scheduling, labor, and floor coverage planning.
• Ensure safety, opening/closing execution, and store readiness.
• Support product launches, events, and community activations.
