Job summary

Aspen Skiing Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Four Mountain Sports Aspen to oversee daily store operations, drive team performance, and maintain a high-quality guest experience across rental and retail locations in Aspen.

You will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, ensure POS accuracy and safe handling, and support scheduling, inventory, and service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in retail, hospitality, rental, or guest service environments required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Experience in ski or snowboard retail or rental operations strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with POS systems, cash handling, and operational reporting required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead daily store operations and assume full ownership in the Manager's absence.
• Lead the sales floor during shifts to maximize guest experience and sales opportunities.
• Model exceptional guest service standards and resolve escalated guest concerns professionally.
• Drive retail and rental performance through selling, cross-selling, and KPI accountability.
• Coach and develop associates while supporting hiring, onboarding, and training.
