Job summary

The Chef’s Warehouse in Orlando is seeking a driven Sales Associate to join our team. You will sell our premium ingredients to restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retailers, building lasting relationships and expanding opportunities.

Travel within the assigned territory, present samples and catalogs, quote prices, and manage accounts. A 1–2 year background in restaurant or food sales and strong communication skills are valued; a college degree is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in restaurant sales or food sales, or related roles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow Revenue by developing new business and expanding existing relationships.
• Build a customer portfolio from networking, directories, and industry sources.
• Travel throughout the territory to call on customers and secure orders.
• Present products using samples or catalogs to fit customer needs.
• Quote prices and terms to prepare contracts for orders.
• Provide delivery estimates and collect payments in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records and keep systems up to date.
• Collaborate with inside sales to keep activities and literature current.
• Track stock levels to align product availability with demand.
• Develop and maintain long-term purchasing contracts.
