Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Ann Arbor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join FirstChoice mobile staffing on a part-time basis. This role offers premium compensation and maximum scheduling flexibility to support short and long-term assignments across the health system, nationwide and regional opportunities available.

You will float across units and locations, perform nursing processes, work within your licensed scope, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve care quality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Utilize standard nursing process: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Be adaptable and handle additional responsibilities as needed.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.
